The 3rd Industrial Revolution
Identity design
We designed the official identity for the Third Industrial Revolution Lëtzebuerg, to support a nationwide program of economic developement in Luxembourg. Invented by american economist Jeremy Rifkin, the concept refers
to a new economy model based on renewable energies, mobility, and communication technologies.
Luxembourg's ambition, pionneering the model, is to become a leader country on sustainable development. Governement's programs, policies and campaigns around Luxembourg will be promoted using this identity.

The logo
Identity design
Territories connected, individuals connected, communities connected. The hyperconnected world we live in, has created an opportunity to change the way we think and reshape the foundations of a society's economy for the third time in history. Number 3 is the hero. Dots connect inside via network but also connect outside. The slightly fragmented blue shapes (inside number 3) signify the land, the territories, a topographic representation of some sort. The typography was considered as to communicate movement, action, connection, and dynamism.
The illustrated map
Illustration
To help understand, in a snapshot, what's the
idea behind the 'new revolution', we created
this freehand illustration representating a map
of Luxembourg, showing a symbolic society.
The interactions going on between individuals,
in their daily lives, are allowed by the support
of new communication technologies, renewable energies, and mobility solutions.
The awards
In order to raise awareness around successful sustainable strategies, management policies, social actions impulsed by businesses in Luxembourg, within the 3rd Industrial Revolution principles, to a wider audience, an award ceremony was introduced as "The People's Votes Project" in which the public would vote for its favorite project within 6 categories (Energy, Mobility, Building, Food, Industry, Finance).
